Path Less Traveled wip


I was able to take some photos as I worked on this large acrylic painting.

I started with a 32x35 inch sheet of 1/4 masonite. I primed the front and back . I then applied 4 layers of gesso.

The reference is a scene I found last spring along the Iowa River near my home.

I sketched the scene in rust colored acrylic.
