Plein Air Workshop




Hello -- I was happy to conduct a one day plein air workshop for the Pastel Society of Iowa. It was held along the Iowa River in Steam Boat, Iowa. I was pleased with the turn out,


though the weather was rather cool and damp.
I did a short demo in the am. The day ended inside with a group critique of the the day's painting. Here I am posting a group
photo along with some shots of the critique. I really enjoyed painting and
networking with the other artists in the group.
BTW it was encouraging to have a young artist in the group who is so enthused about pastel painting. She is 13 and a very
talended artist.
