    I've been reading your posts and looking at your pastels for the past several months,and I might add enjoying them. I am totally blown away at how quickly you are able to produce a piece. It takes me several days. Do you have more than one piece going at a time?

    Hello Carole--very nice to hear from you. I do paint fast. However, I carry the idea for the piece in my head for a long time (sometimes days) before I begin to paint. I sort of work out the steps in my head. Then when it comes time to put down pastel, the process moves along fairly quickly.
