I was able to get out of the house and all the destruction the recent hail storm left to take some photos of the area --I found this scene along a small waterway. The grassses are begining to show signs of Autumn as well as the evergreens. This painting took about 2 hours. I used a watercolor underpainting . Uart 400 grit about 18x24 inches.

I like the colors and use of complements in this. Nice composition, too.
