About this time of year the landscape in Iowa becomes boring to me. Too much Green. Here is one I painted today taking the green out and playing with a rust reddish tone. (trying to provide a little more interest and mood to the scene.) Not sure Iwas successful but a good exercise. 16 x20 on uart paper.. watercolor underpainting.
